Had a proper boss stay! The location is spot on, just a stone's throw from the train station and right in the heart of Amsterdam. The staff were sound, always up for a chat. Just wish the shared bathroom was a bit better, but overall, it was a great time!

oh where to begin, an unfriendly receptionist subjected me to an atrocious check-in experience. The stairs were steep enough to qualify as an Olympic event. It’s astonishing that they don’t offer room upgrades for paying guests like me. I almost thought about leaving a good review but just couldn't bring myself to do it.

Wi-Fi was good, and 24-hour reception was helpful. No pets allowed. non-smoking too.

Climbing steep stairs to access the rooms made it a trek, especially when lugging around bags. The paint was peeling off the walls in some areas, indicating a serious need for maintenance. In short, the facilities didn't match the price point, leaving a bit to be desired for a longer stay.

The staff at reception were warmer than a sunny day in July, with one charming lady making us feel like royalty the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, just a short stroll to everything we wanted to see.
